Excelled in the Equities Division in New York while focusing on hedge fund/prime brokerage sales and financing. Advanced to the Investment Management Division and quickly developed meaningful relationships with entrepreneurs and high-net worth individuals.

Completed three (3) successful tours as an officer in the United States Navy:

1. Started as a Propulsion Officer on board the USS LaSalle (AGF 3), Sixth Fleet Command ship, home port Gaeta, Italy. Led a team of eighty (80) enlisted engineers on numerous operations in the Black and Mediterranean Seas.
2. Promoted to Navigator on board the USS Mt Vernon (LSD 39), home port San Diego. Courageously led the warship on a Persian Gulf Deployment in 1998 and was decorated for meritorious service, leadership and seamanship.
3. To complete an esteemed career, Lieutenant Keegan was awarded a prestigious assignment at the U.S. Naval Academy. There he instructed Naval Leadership and ran the Command Seamanship Training Squadron for the Brigade of Midshipman in small boat seamanship, sail training and leadership.

Competed as a defenseman in Division I Varsity Lacrosse as a Plebe to Midshipman First Class. Successfully competed and selected for U.S. Army Airborne Training at Fort Benning where Midshipman Keegan earned his jump wings to go along with a Bachelor of Science in History.
